Dr. A.K.Dewan, Medical Director, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi on 7' December 2013 spoke on the subject Early Detection and Prevention of Cancer.

Exposition and the Exposition was inaugurated by Dr. Jai Dev , a noted philanthropist and eminent citizen of Ambala Cant . The prototypes developed by the students in the field of electronics , telecommunication, robotics and Bio- Technology were greatly appreciated by the visitors and students from the schools. Ambala College of Engineering, Lord Mahavir Jain Public School, the Indo Swiss Training Centre, Chandigarh ; the Nand Lai Geeta Vidya Mandir, Ambala ; the RA Instruments and the EMS Systems displayed their robotic products . The students were honoured by the Chief Guest.

Dr. A.K. Dewan was felicitated by the Chairman IETE Dr. Anil Jain and other IETE Executive Committee Members Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Prof. J.S.Arya, Mr. Manmohan Maini and Hony Secretary Mr. S.S.Solanki by presenting a Shawl and Memento to Dr. A.K.Dewan on behalf of IETE Ambala and the Gian Chand Jain Memorial Foundation, Ambala Cantt.
